A short course focused on how we grow our cane berries at The Agrarian Kitchen. We’ll cover the full process for cultivating raspberries and other bramble berries. We’ll begin with how we prepare our beds and set up trellis systems, followed by how we prune and keep the plants neatly supported.

We’ll explore different strategies for managing pests, along with methods to keep plants healthy and thriving. We’ll also look at effective weed-management techniques and how to keep vigorous berry canes under control throughout the growing season.

Finally, we will cover how to propagate cane berries. As part of the course, guests will receive plants to take home so they can begin establishing their own berry patch.
